You must dig deep to dissect and analyze what goes on, how it happens and measure the real impact of your efforts. Be ready to change, grow, even reinvent your non-profit. If you don’t, a better prepared competitor will pass you by.“
Linda Bell knows that preparation is key to the effective third sector leader. A leader values the lessons of experience and uses them well. Listening, processing and acting on valid information yield success. She formed her own non-profit from a public agency directing it to sector-recognized high performance. She sharpened her skills by serving on many charitable boards, ranging from serving the needs of women at the local YWCA, to historic building preservation, to foster care, to protecting our pets at the local Humane Society. These causes and others she gave her time and talents. She knows first hand, that volunteer boards need support and she has created her business to do that.
Linda Bell received her Master of Arts in Political Science from West Virginia University earning her undergraduate degree from Frostburg State University.
During her long tenure with a local workforce board, she used her resourceful talents to design innovative, high performing job landing programs and services.
